Our Core Beliefs

At The Bridge Church, our faith is built on the truth of God’s Word and the power of the Gospel. We hold to the following core beliefs as the foundation of our ministry and community:

  1. The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final authority in all matters of faith and life.
    2 Timothy 3:16-17; Psalm 119:105

  2. The Trinity

We believe in one God, existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—co-equal and co-eternal.
    Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14

  3. Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose again on the third day, and will return in glory.
    John 1:1-14; Romans 5:8; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

  4. Salvation

We believe that salvation is a gift from God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. It cannot be earned by works but is available to all who believe and confess Him as Lord.
    Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 10:9-10

  5. The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit lives within every believer, empowering us for godly living, spiritual growth, and service.
    Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22-23

  6. The Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ on earth, called to worship God, equip believers, and reach the world with the Gospel.
    Ephesians 4:11-13; Hebrews 10:24-25

  7. Baptism and Communion

We believe in water baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith, and in partaking of communion as a remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice.
    Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26

  8. Eternity

We believe in eternal life for the believer and eternal separation from God for the unbeliever. Heaven and hell are real places.
    John 3:16; Revelation 20:11-15
